| 内容記述 | The Department of Elementary Education introduced a new subject, Educational Basic Seminar B, starting in the 2022 academic year. This subject was established to enhance students’ academic reading and writing skills and to gain a deeper understanding of specialized fields of child education. Over the class of 15 sessions, while improvements were seen in the formal structure of academic writing, no major improvement was observed in the contents of the document. Regarding the depth of understanding in specialized fields, while differences existed among students, it was generally confirmed that they selected seminars with an understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, differences in academic reading and writing skills were observed across majors. Based on the above, it is considered that the objectives of this class were achieved to a certain extent, and future issues were also clearly identified. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
