A questionnaire survey was conducted in a private university. Data of participants (N = 56, 13 men, 43 women) were analyzed. Results indicated three key findings: seventy percent of university students who had an Instagram account were using the account during the study; the level of life satisfaction was higher in students without an Instagram account compared to those with an account; the way of using the Instagram was not significantly related to their life satisfaction.
