| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between regional contribution activities by private companies and local community functions. Specifically, we focus on comprehensive cooperation agreements between companies and local governments (municipalities), and examine the relationship between the functions, roles, and activities of local communities and their cooperation matters, focusing the case of traditional Japanese local communities, such as neighborhood associations. We will then discuss how companies can be involved with local communities in the context of the need to restructure or redesign “new communities”. | |||||||||||
