内容記述 | Aims: This study aimed to changes students' attitudes and behaviors toward generic skills (basic interpersonal skills) and improve of generic skills through the class format. Methods: Pre-and post-questionnaire survey was conducted. And the class format used was active learning, consisting of lectures, group work, and general sharing. The students were asked to submit an assignment and complete a “Daifuku-Cho” as a class reflection. Results: Free-text responses were analyzed using the KJ method. By working in groups, students learned the importance of considering the feelings of others and became more interested in the concerns of others. A behavior change was observed in their ability to actively engage with others, and they came to understand the importance of understanding from the other person's perspective and began to respect the opinion of others. Additionally, they began to pay attention to the importance of expressing their own opinions and listening to other’s opinions. Daifuku-Cho allowed them to look back on each class and share their reflections with group members and their own reflections. Conclusion: Communication skills improved with the General Skills C class format and group work and Daifuku-Cho contributed to the improve affinity among university students. The acquisition of the General Skill C class content improved basic interpersonal skills, which may be helpful not only in daily life but also in the students' future lives. | |||||||||||
