| 内容記述 | This paper describes the differences in subjective Well-being levels between males and females. Japanese previous research of subjective Well-being indicates that in many cases females are happier than males. There is a paucity of research that has investigated the factors behind females higher levels of subjective Well-being than male. In this paper, explore the determinants of gender differences in happiness, we use a structural equation modeling to divide by gender to briefly compare the structure of perceptions of subjective Well-being between males and females. As a result, significant differences were found in the structure of the influence paths on subjective Well-being between males and females, with females tending to have higher coefficients from “family” factor than males, and males tending to have higher coefficients from “health” factor than females. Especially, “health” factor had significant between males and females were confirmed regarding “sleep and leisure time” and “regular lifestyle”. Whereas, “family” factor structure factors, it was revealed that there is a significant between male and female in the frequency of “meals with family”. |
