| 内容記述 | There are Chinese componds in which the order of the elements may be reversed without significant change in meaning or use. I call these "reversible compunds". This paper considers the importation oand acceptance in Japan of "recersible ompund", principally compund verbs, and discerns the tendenxies listed below. 1. The compundseasily reverse when the meaning of the frist morpheme and second merpheme are the same. 2. There are few compounds that reverse when the first morpheme modifies or suppliments the second morpheme. 3. Many compounds are reversible when the secon morpheme modifiers or suppliments the first morpheme. | |||||||||||
