内容記述 This thesis is to deepen “Consideration of Learning in the Play of Children” (2013). In ‘2013 study’ I considered about children’s learning through play, teachers’ role and environment.
To deepen and widen children’s learning through play, I suggest two points. One is that teachers should take environment widely and the other is that they should always think about whole kindergarten education when they plan curriculum. I also refer to importance of conveying children that they learn in their play.
One of important points of view in making curriculum is how to expand children’s concern and interest. When teachers consciously lead children to broader field of concern and interest, the kinds of children’s play become abundant and their appetite for knowledge gets impulse. Then children start to approach something new with their new knowledge and experiences. Children’s play on their own initiative is important, of course, but when teachers play their part with wellplanned curriculum in the kindergarten, play becomes wider and learning becomes deeper. Some good examples are shown in this thesis.
