内容記述 The present paper focuses on music teaching materials in the training of childcare teachers and examines the appropriateness of the teaching materials used in childcare teacher training schools. The methods consist first understanding the trends of teaching materials used at each childcare teacher training schools at present and subsequently explore the direction of instructors. Furthermore, in order to consider of appropriate teaching materials, it is necessary to summarize what musical expertise is required of the content of instruction and childcare teachers. Therefore, a questionnaire survey on musical expertise was conducted and the results of the responses of students and childcare center instructors were analyzed. It was clarified that regarding the content of instruction, rather than there being a need for the content of music theory must be kept within the range necessary for performance and carefully selected so as not to be overly technical and developing classes that focus on increasing the repertoire of singing songs, it was desirable to develop classes that carefully practice each song and enhance piano expression, singing expression, accompaniment arrangement, and improvisation. In response to this, as examples of appropriate teaching materials, specific proposals such as teaching materials with more accompaniment arrangements, teaching materials with improvised music patterns that can be used in children's physical expression, teaching materials for singing ability for children were made.
