目的 原子力災害時の保健師活動についての教育内容の実態を把握し,今後の保健師教育のあり方について検討した。方法 看護教育を実施している4年制大学142の地域看護学担当者に,原子力災害看護の教授の有無,教授内容,教授の工夫,未教授の理由,今後の教授計画,原子力災害看護に関する意見など郵送による自記式調査を行った。結果 62大学から有効回答があった。原子力災害看護に関する授業を設定している大学は8,設定していない大学は54であった。授業未設定の理由は時間の確保が難しい,教授する教員がいない,特殊な災害で頻度が少ない,大学設置地域周辺に原子力施設がないであった。教授するための情報の少なさも教授することを困難にしていた。茨城キリスト教大学看護学部が原発立地県にあり,かつJCO事故が起きた地域に立地していることより,原子力災害看護の教授内容を構築していくことへの期待があった。結論 原子力災害看護の教授内容の構築とともに知識の普及や情報の発信の必要性が明らかになり,茨城キリスト教大学看護学部は原子力災害看護教育に貢献できることが示唆された。 |

Purpose: We investigated actual conditions of educational content of public health nurse activities in the event of a nuclear disaster and examined public health nurse education needs for the future. Method: Through mailed self-administrated questionnaires, we surveyed persons in charge of community health nursing at 142 four-year colleges at which nursing education was provided, to elucidate the following: whether they give instruction in nuclear disaster nursing or not; instructional contents and ideas for giving instruction; reasons not to give instruction for nuclear disaster nursing; instructional plans for the future; opinions related to nuclear disaster nursing, and so on. Result: Eight universities set classes for nuclear disaster nursing, but 54 universities did not. Reasons for not holding such classes included the following. It is difficult to secure time for them. No teacher can give instruction. It occurs less frequently because it is a particular kind of disaster. No nuclear facility exists near our university. The paucity of information for teaching also makes giving instruction difficult. Because our university is located in a prefecture with some nuclear power plants, and particularly in the area where the JCO accident occurred, there were expectations for our university to establish educational contents of nuclear disaster nursing. Conclusion: With the need to establish instructional contents of nuclear disaster nursing, the need for knowledge dissemination became obvious. Results suggest that our university can contribute to nursing education for nuclear disasters. |
